LiDA26 is a satellite designed for zone fill in installations and as a small front sound system for small auditoriums. The product is based on two 6.5" speakers and an asymmetric waveguide combined with a modern high-frequency driver with a 1.4" voice coil. It has a wide horizontal directivity in the near field (100 degrees) and narrows in the far field (50 degrees).
A loudspeaker configuration developed by Joe D’Appolito, in which a high frequency driver is positioned between two low-mid frequency drivers that each cover the same frequency range. Due to rotatable horn section can be positioned with a vertical or horizontal orientation. In either case the two low-midrange drivers serve a couple of purposes: they combine to create a larger effective low-mid frequency source, and they also serve to control the directivity of the high frequency section of the box.
